Description

Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) is a striking biennial plant of the Asteraceae family. It is easily recognized by its large, prickly leaves painted with distinctive white veins, and its solitary, bright purple thistle flower. Native to the Mediterranean, it has been revered for centuries.
